implant-assisted dentures in Tysons

It works by placing surgical grade titanium posts directly into the jawbone to restore the root structure of the lost teeth, and these are then attached to ball-shaped metal connectors called abutments that show above the gum line. Then, a partial or full denture can be snapped onto these abutments to give a person their full smile back.

implant-assisted dentures vs. Traditional Dentures

More and more dentists and patients are choosing implant-assisted dentures (i.e., overdenture) over traditional ones because they offer a number of benefits regular dentures simply can’t:

How Much Does an implant-assisted denture Cost?

The total cost of an implant-assisted denture (i.e., overdenture) includes both the procedure to place the implants and the denture itself. There is no “set” cost for this procedure simply because every person’s individual needs are different, such as how many teeth are going to be replaced. Typically, the cost for replacing 1 tooth with a dental implant is around $4,000, so this can be multiplied for how many implants a patient needs.

While this may be more expensive than a traditional denture up front, implant-assisted dentures (i.e., overdenture) tend to be the more financially sound choice over time due to its added benefits and longevity. A traditional full denture can easily cost up to $5,000, but it won’t be able to maintain its fit for more than 5-7 years, meaning it will typically need to be replaced multiple times. With an implant-assisted denture, however, the implants themselves can last for 30 years or more, and because they support your jaw and gums, the fit will last for much longer as well, meaning they are often a one-time cost for many patients.

At our practice, we believe finances should never stand in the way of excellent dental care, which is why we offer a number of interest-free financing options that can turn the cost of dental implants into a number of small, easy to afford monthly payments. These can be as little as a couple of hundred dollars a month, which is more than worth the lifetime of daily benefits an implant-assisted denture can provide.
